Reminiscence of my freshman year...(pt. 1)

Finally blog updated!!:D

Uni first year has finally come to an end, which means that the year ones are no longer "fresh" and there are still 6 semesters to go. According to seniors, those sem are going to kill us!!So, I MUST enjoy my last and the only 3 months holiday in my life!!HAHA...

I think I should write something about my first year in NUS or else I'm going to forget those memories after one or two years as most human are forgetful and I realized that my short-term memory problem becomes more and more severe as "ageing proceeds"...HAHA!!

July 2010:

I first came to NUS to attend a camp organized by AMCISA (Association of Malaysian Chinese Independent School Alumni). Got to know a lot of chinese independent school friends from many different part of malaysia!!This is the bunch of friends that was in the same group as me:)!雷蜓刀:

Then, here comes the orientation week in August and I've attended another freshman orientation camp organized by Pharmacy and this is the first day of camp, my orientation group(OG)--Difflam!

It's kinda boring at first cos everyone of them in my group are singaporeans and all from Junior College. The guys would normally talk about their army days while girls will be so excited over their JC!!Maybe it's my fate, cos after that I found that my other friends who are also malaysian scholars will at least have another malaysian friend in their group and thus they still have some common topic to talk about during the first day when everyone was so unacquainted with each other.

I have experienced the NUS's traditional annual event, Flag Day and Rag Day! Flag day is the day when we have to go out to collect donations for some of the beneficiaries in sg whereas Rag day is the most awesome event that I've seen!!Every hall of residences and faculties will do their very best to create their own float and present it to the public. After orientation week, lectures start!!First semester was a bit hectic as I need to take 6 modules [anatomy, physiology 1, pharmacy practice, Physicochemical principle of drug action(PPDA), Introduction to Computing & english module]. Some of us need to take an english module as we didn't pass the qualifying english test...haha...anyway, despite the bad grade that I got(it's not counted as you just need to pass...haha), we did learn something new from that module!!:D
